yes..i like this...Grease!

If you are my friend you shouldn't really be surprised. Its been awhile since I've blogged and now I'm giving you this crap. BUT its crap I like.

I like not very many people out there have been watching "Grease:Youre the One that I Want" on NBC. My friend Carlota said she was going to start watching it way back in Jan. I really had no interest but gave it a try anyway. Basically, "Grease the reality show" is definitely a little cheesier on compared to all those boy band/ popstar shows like American Idol. This is because the winners will be cast as the leads in the musical revival on Broadway. Cool huh? And whaddya know...I got sucked in. Its 2months in and they just had the final performances. Next week we get to see who gets chosen by America. My favorite guy who they dubbed "Slacker Danny" has been my favorite from the start. He's an unlikely Danny Zuko but boy is he GOOD!! His competition is the polished pretty boy who actually kinda creeps me out.

Goodbye Seth Cohen

Tonight marks the last episode of the OC. (tear).

For 4 years this sometimes too self aware drama on Fox has had me in its grip. The strongest grip being in season 1 when too cool for school Summer Roberts fell for emo kid Seth Cohen's geek chick charms. I continued to watch through season 2 and 3 even though horrible storylines with androgenous Johnny, bisexual Alex and horrible brother for all seasons Trey came through Newport.

This last shortened season was a breath of fresh air because of a more comedic flair to it. Namely Taylor Townsend made me watch the OC with fervor again. Her romance with Ryan, who I always thought grunted too much for his own good, made me giggle and smirth at the Newpsies once again.

Forever will I hold a place in the anals of my heart for Seth Cohen. Its right between Brian Krakow and Willow Rosenberg.

Mika

This is Mika from the UK! He's a singer/songwriter that I've started to dig. He reminds me of Freddie Mercury, the Beatles, Billy Joel and all sorts of piano pop I used to dig as a kid. He maybe too melodic or poppy but honestly...i just like me the fun music.

His album drops in the UK on february 5th (the US release will be on march 27th).

High School Musical in development for Wii

Yep, Buena Vista Games is making a game based off of High School Musical. It hasn’t been confirmed that the High School Musical game is based off the Disney Channel movie, but seeing the ties between Disney and BVG, I would say it is a 99.9% sure deal.

Disney would be stupid not to make a game off of this property. The soundtrack is the number one selling album of this year. The TV movie was the highest rated program on TV this past year. Will the game follow in these record breaking footsteps?

Wii Crazy!!!

I got a wii this morning. I sucked it up and was able to get one at Target in the early early morn. I have yet to use it because i'm currently debating whether my parents get it as a Xmas gift or if its all for me. I know that because of my living situation that if i decided to give to my parents or keep for myself we will all be using it together anyway. Symantics...whatever.

Anyway...needless to say. I'm excited to finally use it!!! But if I become this woman in the youtube video. SHOOT ME!! Honestly...just shoot me.
