I thought Geoduck (GOO-ee-duck)

On the island of Koh Tao in Thailand I thought I saw a real live geoduck. After double checking online I was sadly mistaken. They must have been rather large sea cucumbers. And the geoduck apparently is only native to the Pacific Northwest of North America.

What is a geoduck you ask?
Well it is the largest burrowing clam in the world, weighing in at anywhere from one to three pounds at maturity. The appearance of geoduck's large, protruding siphon has led to the belief that the geoduck has the properties of an aphrodisiac. The geoduck has a life expectancy of up to 150 years with the oldest recorded at 163 years.
For more on the geoduck visit

** Thanks to Amy Gallagher for first informing of the existence of the GEODUCK.

Hello from hot and sweaty Thailand.

So I'm here. All the talk and now there is finally action.

I arrived friday in Bangkok and spent a few days there. what an adventure!! The heat and humidity and somewhat the city style reminds me of Manila. But I think Bangkok is a lot nicer and more easily accessible to the tourist.

Today is Monday and my cousin Joe and my friend Carol and I are now in Chiang Mai. We met up with our trek group in Bangkok on Saturday. Sunday night we then took the night train in and arrived with our trek group at 9am. Today is just seeing the sights in Chiang Mai like the Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and checking out the silk textile factory nearby as well.

Tomorrow we leave with our 12 person trekking group. 2 New Zealanders, 4 Englishmen, 3 Aussies and us 3 Yanks. Seem like a fun bunch although one already got sick off the car and motorbike fumes as we drove to and from Dio Suthep.

The trek will be a big highlight of the whole trip but so far the muay thai fight, the infamous ping pong show and eating a bag of grasshoppers has been the most memorable to date. Oh I can't leave out the food. Great stuff. I love the different fruits...I can't get enough of it.

Ok....later peeps. More updates and pictures still to come at a later date

Erotic Photohunt No More!

So Triple L (Eric, Jen and myself) made an appearance in the Valley once again after a long hiatus. We did the usual dinner at Sam Woo and then drinks at the Chimneysweep. Erotic Photohunt is usually on tap for the night's festivities as well. I know I know...not really a videogame that a young lady as myself should be playing but its oh so fun with 2/3rds of Triple L.

Posted by Hello
This particular night we got a little bored with EP and decided to play a little "tile Mahjongg". I think we have a new game that satisfies!. Here are our scores for the evening. Yes..we played a crap load of times.

So..I have sisters.
